This is real life. The truth is, I'm not that great at it. But this is it, and it is my life. You want me to post pictures of what I wear every day? You'd have a collaboration of different yoga pants, and oversized t-shirts--some worn multiple days in a row {cringe}! You want to know my toddler lunch meal ideas? They often vary between dino nuggets, pb&j, or ravioli--but hey, at least it's the frozen kind and not Chef Boyardee...although that has made a few appearances! You want pictures of my home decor? Well my house is usually a mess. There are dishes in the sink and laundry to be put away. Most days, with my two crazy sidekicks calling the shots, I don't have time to shower, and rarely even do my hair {am I really admitting this in a public forum?!}! But this is life, and it is my life. And I'm lucky enough to get to share it with an amazing husband and the 3 cutest kids in the world, so no matter how you look it, I'm the luckiest!

My Christmas Angels

It was a great Christmas season. I was afraid it'd be extremely stressful with a new baby and we also had Spencer for Christmas Eve and Christmas morning. But it ended up being absolutely fantastic!

Here's Melia in her Christmas dress. It is the first dress she has ever worn. And the first pair of shoes she has ever worn too. The adorable bow on her headband was made and given to her by my friend Krystal. I love it, she's my little Christmas present. Here is Melia getting a bottle fed to her by her Uncle Troy. Troy is so sweet with her.I know this picture isn't necessarily Christmasy, but it was taken around Christmas time and the bow is red! :) She absolutely loves her swing.Melia's cousin Lydia was born 2 weeks after Melia. She is adorable and it's so fun to have a cousin so close to Melia in age. I hope they'll be good friends. Lydia is the daughter of Mike's brother Justin and his wife Sarah. Melia and Lydia don't look anything alike but they're both such cuties. Mike's mom bought Melia and Lydia matching Christmas dresses for their Christmas card. The tights were HUGE. Here are the girls in their matching tights. Here's Melia in the whole outfit, minus the bow. Isn't this little dress adorable? I love it, and the reindeer is fuzzy too. My mom says the reindeer looks like Chief with the long nose. He kindof does huh? :)This is the picture that Mom and Dad Morgan picked for their christmas card. Mike's mom put this picture up in her office and a woman asked her if they were boys. ??? My mother in law said, "Maybe I should've bought them bigger bows." Haha! They are pretty cute GiRLS though huh?We went over to the Morgans for Christmas Eve. Here is Mike's nephew Colton holding Melia. I love this picture. Melia is wearing her special Christmas pajamas. :)Mike's niece Caylie is so good with Melia. She seriously is amazing. She is only 11 years old and seriously is GIFTED with babies. She is such a natural. And Melia absolutely adores her.Caylie was holding her laying on the recliner and both of them fell asleep. How sweet is this picture? Here is Spencer with his presents on Christmas morning. Great hair huh? He is so cute. Although having Melia here and experiencing her first Christmas was so much fun, Spencer stole the show. :) My greatest Christmas moment (not only for this year but for my entire life thus far) was after we'd opened all the presents and were cleaning up and getting ready to go to Grandma Place's house Spencer stated, "This is the best Christmas EVER!" And here is Melia with her presents on Christmas morning. Her FiRST CHRiSTMAS!
For Christmas, Spencer gave Melia this adorable bunny from Build-A-Bear. And when you squeeze her paw you hear Spencer's voice saying, "I love you Melia!" It is the sweetest thing ever! Here's Spencer giving Chief his Christmas present. :) We wrapped up some treats and he LOVED tearing up the wrapping paper to get to them!Mike is SERIOUSLY the hardest person to shop for. He wants for nothing pretty much. I ended up getting him the old series V DVD's among other things, but his favorite gift was this homemade t-shirt from his brother, Spencer. If you've seen the 80's movie Breaking Away you'll understand it. If not, it is a good movie, Mike would recomend it!
And here are all our "children" on Christmas day! :) Chief really does look like that reindeer on Melia's shirt in this picture! :)
Melia had a GREAT first Christmas. We're sorry we didn't get out any Christmas gifts or cards this year to our friends and neighbors, but we wish you all a (belated) Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year!
