This is real life. The truth is, I'm not that great at it. But this is it, and it is my life. You want me to post pictures of what I wear every day? You'd have a collaboration of different yoga pants, and oversized t-shirts--some worn multiple days in a row {cringe}! You want to know my toddler lunch meal ideas? They often vary between dino nuggets, pb&j, or ravioli--but hey, at least it's the frozen kind and not Chef Boyardee...although that has made a few appearances! You want pictures of my home decor? Well my house is usually a mess. There are dishes in the sink and laundry to be put away. Most days, with my two crazy sidekicks calling the shots, I don't have time to shower, and rarely even do my hair {am I really admitting this in a public forum?!}! But this is life, and it is my life. And I'm lucky enough to get to share it with an amazing husband and the 3 cutest kids in the world, so no matter how you look it, I'm the luckiest!

"Blessed"

By Martina McBride

When I'm singing my kids to sleep
When I feel you holding me
I know

I have been blessed
And I feel like I've found my way
I thank God for all I've been given
At the end of every day

I have been blessed

Back on February 7, Melia was blessed. It was a beautiful blessing and Mike did a wonderful job. I am so glad that so many of our family and friends could be there to support Melia.

Melia looked so beautiful in her gorgeous blessing dress. This dress used to be a wedding dress and Melia's amazingly talented Aunt Heather, Mike's sister, made it into this beautiful blessing dress. We had so many compliments about it. Melia is the 3rd baby to be blessed in the dress and this month her cousin Lydia got to be the 4th. I hope that all our daughters will be able to be blessed in it. Melia was a wonderful little angel the whole day and didn't make much of a peep during the blessing. However, when I took this picture of her she wasn't too thrilled. But at least you can see the beautiful dress. :)
Here Lia is getting a bottle from her sweet Daddy who she loves so much! In this picture you can get a slight glimpse of the back train ties of the dress. It's so pretty!
Here she is again being held by her handsome daddy. She sure is a happy girl in his arms!
And here she is with me. I am pretty sure she loves me too. :)
I just love her pretty little butterfly clip on her headband. Her "aunt" Megan gave it to her and it matched perfectly with the blessing dress. I also love her sweet little bracelet.

Here she is with Grandma and Grandpa Place.
And here with Grandma and Grandpa Morgan.
After the blessing we had a little get together at Mike's parents house. Mike's mom made this beautiful centerpiece of roses in a vase filled with pink Jelly Bellies. It was adorable (and yummy too)!
Spencer looked just as handsome as his dad in his sharp looking suit.
All in all, it was a great day!

What a fun story to have attached to her blessing dress. It is beautiful, your sister-in-law did a great job. I also have to say the mommy looked beautiful as always on that special day.
