This is real life. The truth is, I'm not that great at it. But this is it, and it is my life. You want me to post pictures of what I wear every day? You'd have a collaboration of different yoga pants, and oversized t-shirts--some worn multiple days in a row {cringe}! You want to know my toddler lunch meal ideas? They often vary between dino nuggets, pb&j, or ravioli--but hey, at least it's the frozen kind and not Chef Boyardee...although that has made a few appearances! You want pictures of my home decor? Well my house is usually a mess. There are dishes in the sink and laundry to be put away. Most days, with my two crazy sidekicks calling the shots, I don't have time to shower, and rarely even do my hair {am I really admitting this in a public forum?!}! But this is life, and it is my life. And I'm lucky enough to get to share it with an amazing husband and the 3 cutest kids in the world, so no matter how you look it, I'm the luckiest!

Welcome Home Elder Hudson!

Well, I just wanted to start this blog with a perfect little face.  :)  This is my little Jawa after her bath. :)
A couple weeks ago I babysat my sister's 4 kids for the weekend.  We had a lot of fun.  Here are all the kids playing "Sorry Sliders" it's a super fun game.
More fun.
And finally, the purpose of this post:  My cute nephew just got home from his mission in Peru.  WELCOME HOME JETT!  Here is everybody waiting for him at the airport with signs, balloons, and all!
Melia was super tired and slept the whole way to the airport and only woke up right before he came down the escalator.
I was about to take a cute picture of Melia and Daddy waiting for Jett, when all the sudden my silly niece Caroline jumped right in front of the camera.  She is such a ham.
But I still got a cute picture of Mike and Melia.  Look at that sweet face.
The girls got a little restless and sat and laid on the floor.  :)  Here are Becca and Caroline.

Finally, there was my Jettie!  When he saw us all from the top of the escalator, he wouldn't come down.  I don't know if he was nervous or what but he just kept peeking at us and laughing and wouldn't come down.
Finally he came down and his 2 littlest sisters ran to greet him (along with Caroline and Lizzie, my brother's kids who he didn't recognize at all).
There were plenty of happy tears shed at his homecoming.  Here's his littlest sister Hannah crying.
His oldest little sister Rachael shed some tears too.
Jett was SHOCKED at how big his little brother Skyler was!
Here he is with two of his "LITTLE" brothers.  I am pretty sure they were both smaller than him when he left.
But I am sure his greatest shock came from seeing his brother James...(yes, that is a boy...)  James was growing out his hair for the high school musical, Les Miserables.  He played Monsieur Thénardier.  Jett could not stop laughing when he saw him with all his hair!

The most touching moment was seeing him with his youngest brother, Brayden, who also shed some tears.  Brayden was sure happy to have his brother home.
Melia of course didn't know Jett--as he left before she was born, but he was excited to meet her, and she was excited to play with the balloons!  :)
The day after Jettie came home he came out to our house to get to know Melia a little better and to get his stuff we'd been storing at our house while he was gone.  It was really fun to get to see him playing with Melia.
He was awfully sweet with my girl.
He even played Mike's guitar and sang to her.  He'd never learned to play guitar before he left but apparently he had a few companions with guitars and learned while he was in Peru.
She was quite mesmerized by him playing and singing.  It was pretty cute.
Jett, we're SO HAPPY to have you back safely!  We love you!

Your little Melia is so cute and you dress her so well! Love the airport outfit. Can you believe you're going to have another one? hah. Can't wait to hear what you're having. Hope you're feeling better.
