A few weeks ago my brother Jeff and his family came into town from Kansas. We don't get to see them too often so it was a real treat to have them come. They were here over my brother and his daughter's birthday! (They share a birthday.) Caroline, his youngest daughter, was turning 4, and they threw her a big princess birthday party at my sister Kristy's house.
Here is Melia sitting in Princess Caroline's throne. She really liked all the decor.

Melia wore her cute little princess shirt and tutu, and also wore the felt crown one of my cousins made for her before she was born.
Here is Princess Caroline in her throne.
Caroline was not a fan of the idea of Melia sitting in her throne and as soon as she saw Melia sitting there she marched over and put her hands on her hips and gave her a glare. I got Melia out of the chair and Caroline's mom told her to give Melia a hug. Caroline very feistily replied, "WHY?" Her mom, Angela, responded, "Because she is your cousin." Caroline said, "She is NOT in my family." Then Angela said, "Yes she is." Then Caroline said, "Oh..." and sweetly walked over and hugged Melia. :) It was pretty funny, and cute. She was super sweet to her the rest of the day.
Here are a few of the party princesses doing crafts. These are all cute nieces of mine.
More craft pictures.
Caroline's adorable Cinderella cake.
We had a little "dance party" and each girl got to get up and do a little improv dance. Here is Caroline trying to help Melia dance.
Then the doorbell rang. All the princesses ran to the door. Who could it be?
CINDERELLA!
Cinderella was PERFECT. She looked JUST as you would imagine Cinderella. Even better than any of the princesses I've seen at Disney Land. And she spoke in the perfect voice and had the greatest expressions. So cute!
She was very excited to see Princess Caroline. All the princesses were ecstatic to see Cinderella.
Cinderella brought the girls in to the family room and sang them some songs. She sang all different Disney Princess songs and then the girls were to raise their hands when they know whose song it was. She sang so perfectly in her princess voice and the girls had SO much fun!
Caroline knew all the answers. Later Cinderella did some trivia questions. Caroline knew every answer--even "Which of my princess friends has 3 names that she goes by?" Answer? Sleeping Beauty and "What are those names?" 1) Sleeping Beauty, 2) Aurora, 3) Briar Rose. I was shocked when Caroline yelled out, "Briar Rose!" It was adorable! She sure knows her princesses!
Melia especially loved it when Cinderella told her own story.
Here is Cinderella telling the girls how her EVIL STEPMOTHER locked her in her room so she couldn't try on the glass slipper! She had such great facial expressions! This would be such a fun job!
After all the festivities were over, Cinderella was supposed to get her picture taken with each girl in the throne. Of course, Princess Caroline was first.
But when we told her to get out of her throne so that all the other girls could sit there to get their pictures taken with Cinderella, she would have none of that! So, needless to say, the rest of the girls got their picture taken on the floor with Cinderella while Princess Caroline stayed in her throne. :) Here's my cute niece Aubrey with Cinderella.
And little Lizzie. Lizzie is my brother Jeff's other daughter, Caroline's older sister.
Unfortunately Melia liked sitting on Cinderella's lap about as much as she liked sitting on Santa's lap. :) Still makes for a fun picture though.
And here's my newest niece, Ashley, with Cinderella.
Getting ready for a group photo. (I had to include this one because I think Melia's face is just classic.)
All the princesses together. From left to right, Becca, Hannah, Hailey (behind), Aubrey, Kalia, Cinderella, Melia, Caroline, and Lizzie. Such cute girls!
Thanks Princess Caroline for inviting us to such a fabulous party! :)
