This is real life. The truth is, I'm not that great at it. But this is it, and it is my life. You want me to post pictures of what I wear every day? You'd have a collaboration of different yoga pants, and oversized t-shirts--some worn multiple days in a row {cringe}! You want to know my toddler lunch meal ideas? They often vary between dino nuggets, pb&j, or ravioli--but hey, at least it's the frozen kind and not Chef Boyardee...although that has made a few appearances! You want pictures of my home decor? Well my house is usually a mess. There are dishes in the sink and laundry to be put away. Most days, with my two crazy sidekicks calling the shots, I don't have time to shower, and rarely even do my hair {am I really admitting this in a public forum?!}! But this is life, and it is my life. And I'm lucky enough to get to share it with an amazing husband and the 3 cutest kids in the world, so no matter how you look it, I'm the luckiest!

Halloween 2013

FINALLY our Halloween pics from 2013!

Melia's newest favorite Halloween activity is "carving" tortillas for quesadillas.  :)
She was pretty excited to show off this fun to her cousin Ashley when she came to visit.

We went to the Draper Halloween Party at Draper Historic Park.  Melia and Brinley and Ashley all dressed as Minnie Mouse and Missy took this cute picture with her phone before we headed to the party.

Evera was the cutest little werewolf in the history of EVER!!

 Aubrey was a vampire--I'm pretty sure this is actually the only time she wore her costume, but it scared her too bad to wear it again.  Poor girl HATES Halloween.  She was a good sport at the party though.
 The party exhausted Melia!  :)
 Mike and I went to a Halloween party that some of our friends threw.  To go along with the kids' REAL halloween costumes (which you'll see below), Mike was Jake (from Jake and Neverland Pirates) and I was The Pirate Princess.

 Melia made a pretty stinking adorable Izzy.  She went through a MAJOR Jake and the Neverland Pirates phase and LOVED Izzy.

 Evera was a pretty dang cute Cubby.
 Lydia was in town the same night as our ward party, so Melia got to go play with Lydia after the party, and Brinley and her family came over to Grandma Morgan's house too.  Melia was pretty thrilled to get to play with BOTH her BFF's at the same time. :) (If you couldn't already tell, Brinley was also Izzy for Halloween.) :)

Spencer's cousin's family had a Halloween Carnival at their house to raise money for Spencer's cousin's mission.  The kids had a lot of fun at the carnival.

We also took all the kids to the mall go to trick or treating store to store.  Brinley wore her Glinda costume for that.  Isn't it gorgeous.  I think she looks so cute.  And Colton was Tonto.  His costume was pretty awesome.
 But seriously though, you cannot argue that Evera was the cutest Cubby EVER.  My mom worked on his and Mike's costumes, and did AWESOME on both.
 These crazies had fun playing at the mall.
 Halloween can be exhausting.
 (Evera often falls asleep on the floor by his bedroom door because we won't let him out and he pounds on the door until he falls asleep...)
 "Mom, what the crap?  Get the camera out of my face!"
