This is real life. The truth is, I'm not that great at it. But this is it, and it is my life. You want me to post pictures of what I wear every day? You'd have a collaboration of different yoga pants, and oversized t-shirts--some worn multiple days in a row {cringe}! You want to know my toddler lunch meal ideas? They often vary between dino nuggets, pb&j, or ravioli--but hey, at least it's the frozen kind and not Chef Boyardee...although that has made a few appearances! You want pictures of my home decor? Well my house is usually a mess. There are dishes in the sink and laundry to be put away. Most days, with my two crazy sidekicks calling the shots, I don't have time to shower, and rarely even do my hair {am I really admitting this in a public forum?!}! But this is life, and it is my life. And I'm lucky enough to get to share it with an amazing husband and the 3 cutest kids in the world, so no matter how you look it, I'm the luckiest!

Winter Fun

We had a lot of fun this past winter.  We only wish it would've snowed more because there were only a few opportunities to really build snowmen and play in the snow.

It turns out the water table is almost as fun in the winter as in the summer.  :)
Evera was pretty excited about getting all suited up for the cold.
We built this snowman, and Ev gave up his hat to keep the snowman's head warm. :)
Melia was pretty proud of our masterpiece snowman.
 Yay!  Snowman!
Melia really wanted our snowman to have hair.  :)
And we made some snow angels too!

Evera mostly just enjoyed eating the snow.  :)
 Lots of snow.
The kids even enjoyed the swingset in the snow.

Even when Melia crashed off the swing.  :)
Each Christmas season my dad is invited to bring his family to the Simmons Media Group Christmas Party.  The last 3 or 4 years it's been held at Gorgoza Park where we get to go tubing down the giant hill.  It is seriously one of our favorite traditions the whole year long.  It is so much fun!

Melia loves doing ANYTHING with her cousins Becca and Hanna, but this is especially fun.

This year, however, it was BITTER COLD.  Like FRIGID.  I believe it was 6 degrees Fahrenheit.  So it was a bit painful (especially zooming down the giant hill with the snow and air piercing your bare skin).  Poor Melia got a bit ornery with the cold.
So we went to warm up by the heater, and apparently Kalia and Loren had had the same idea.  :)

 These pictures crack me up.
Then we decided to go inside the yurt to warm up some more, and we stumbled upon Santa and Mr. Clause.

All in all, we had a great time!
