This is real life. The truth is, I'm not that great at it. But this is it, and it is my life. You want me to post pictures of what I wear every day? You'd have a collaboration of different yoga pants, and oversized t-shirts--some worn multiple days in a row {cringe}! You want to know my toddler lunch meal ideas? They often vary between dino nuggets, pb&j, or ravioli--but hey, at least it's the frozen kind and not Chef Boyardee...although that has made a few appearances! You want pictures of my home decor? Well my house is usually a mess. There are dishes in the sink and laundry to be put away. Most days, with my two crazy sidekicks calling the shots, I don't have time to shower, and rarely even do my hair {am I really admitting this in a public forum?!}! But this is life, and it is my life. And I'm lucky enough to get to share it with an amazing husband and the 3 cutest kids in the world, so no matter how you look it, I'm the luckiest!

"Manic Monday"

By The Bangles

Have to catch an early train
Got to be to work by nine

And if I had an air-o-plane
I still couldn't make it on time
'Cause it takes me so long
Just to figure out what I'm gonna wear
Blame it on the train
But the boss is already there

It's just another manic Monday
I wish it was Sunday
'Cause that's my fun day
My I don't have to run day
But it's just another manic Monday

Ahh finally it's my last Monday here at Internal Medicine! Although there is silent rejoicing going on, it is still a "Manic Monday" inspite of the joy! For once I actually wasn't late to work but most days the beginning of the song (above) describes my life to a "T"...well except I don't take the train... I hate Mondays here because answering the calls of patients who are more mentally than physically ill and think that an early prescription of oxycontin is going to solve all their problems is not my idea of an enjoyable way to spend my entire day! The more I think about it the happier I am to be out of here. However I will greatly miss seeing my friends here regularly--Yes Jess, mainly you!

Anyway, speaking of "moving on in life" I just got an email today stating that I've been accepted to BYU for fall semester! The thought of going back sortof makes me a little ill, but excited nonetheless! I breezed so easily through high school and even through AP Literature without actually reading any of the books. College on the other hand is extremely daunting to me and I'll need a lot of Mike's help. But I am excited to get back in the university atmosphere and to take some awesome classes! Wish me luck on surviving!
