This is real life. The truth is, I'm not that great at it. But this is it, and it is my life. You want me to post pictures of what I wear every day? You'd have a collaboration of different yoga pants, and oversized t-shirts--some worn multiple days in a row {cringe}! You want to know my toddler lunch meal ideas? They often vary between dino nuggets, pb&j, or ravioli--but hey, at least it's the frozen kind and not Chef Boyardee...although that has made a few appearances! You want pictures of my home decor? Well my house is usually a mess. There are dishes in the sink and laundry to be put away. Most days, with my two crazy sidekicks calling the shots, I don't have time to shower, and rarely even do my hair {am I really admitting this in a public forum?!}! But this is life, and it is my life. And I'm lucky enough to get to share it with an amazing husband and the 3 cutest kids in the world, so no matter how you look it, I'm the luckiest!

Mia & Dia, they are friends...

Melia's cousin and BFF, Lydia, and her family--Mike's youngest brother Justin and his wife and one of my good friends, Sarah--moved to Texas at the beginning of January.  It was so sad to see them go and we miss them like crazy!  Here are just a bunch of pictures of Melia and Lydia around Christmas time showing how much they love eachother.  They would always hug and giggle and were just so cute together.  I cannot wait til Lydia and her family come to visit again!  (A few of these pictures turned out completely black when I downloaded them.  I had to do a lot of photoshopping on them to get them to turn out even remotely visible, but they were still too cute to just throw away!)
Melia got a bunch of Care Bears for Christmas and she had two very similar Friend Bear Care Bears so she gave one of them to Lydia.  I thought it was perfect because they are BEST FRIENDS!  :)

I asked her if she wanted to give it to Lydia and she said yes, got very excited, ran over to Lydia and squealed, "Merry Christmas DIA!"  And gave her the bear.  I didn't even say anything about Christmas.  It was pretty cute.
They love to hug and kiss eachother!

Lydia's mom took this picure back in November at Costco.  We call them our little babushkas in this picture.  :)  Don't they look like little old Russian women in those fancy coats?!  :)  They're so cute just snuggling up to eachother!  Sarah sent this to me in a picture message and said Melia kept calling Lydia "Dia" and Lydia kept calling Melia "Mia" and it was so cute.  Then she said, "Mia and Dia, they are friends." I just liked the way she said it and thought it was so cute.

Lydia gave Melia a snow globe with this picture in it for Christmas.  Melia loves it and Lydia has the same one.  Sarah said that Lydia sometimes tries to "feed Mia" through the snow globe.  :)

Even though it's been a while since they've been together, Melia still talks about "Dia."  The other day I asked her who she wanted to give Valentines to and I named a few kids in the neighborhood.  She named a few others and then said, "and Dia!"  Like "Mom, you can't forget HER!"  It was sweet.  Sarah said sometimes Lydia will dance around house doing dance moves she and Melia used to do together while giggling "Mia, Mia!"  Ugh I hate having them so far away, but I am sure Melia and Lydia will stay close anyway.

How stinkin cute are these pictures from New Year's Eve?!
I love those cute girls!
