This is real life. The truth is, I'm not that great at it. But this is it, and it is my life. You want me to post pictures of what I wear every day? You'd have a collaboration of different yoga pants, and oversized t-shirts--some worn multiple days in a row {cringe}! You want to know my toddler lunch meal ideas? They often vary between dino nuggets, pb&j, or ravioli--but hey, at least it's the frozen kind and not Chef Boyardee...although that has made a few appearances! You want pictures of my home decor? Well my house is usually a mess. There are dishes in the sink and laundry to be put away. Most days, with my two crazy sidekicks calling the shots, I don't have time to shower, and rarely even do my hair {am I really admitting this in a public forum?!}! But this is life, and it is my life. And I'm lucky enough to get to share it with an amazing husband and the 3 cutest kids in the world, so no matter how you look it, I'm the luckiest!

Unofficial Family Reunion 2013

Every other year we have a big official reunion with Mike's side of the family.  On the off years we have an unofficial family reunion stay-cation.  A lot of people come in from out of town, but those of us from around here get a stay-cation of sorts.

We all went swimming at my parents house.

Justin and baby Anne

Spencer and Miles

Practicing our "1-2-3 Under"

Evera going down the slide

He was not a fan...

Taylor going down the slide upsidedown

Baby Anne slept on Justin's shoulder almost the whole time

Vienna loved going down the slide with Spencer

Spencer was pretty proud of himself and this clap dance thingy he was doing.  And the face he pulls when he concentrates on it cracks me up.

That face!
On the 4th of July we all got together to do fireworks.

Rhodri, Anne & Colton

Ahh love this girl!
Evera was happily waiting in anticipation before the fireworks started.

Colton--love this kid!

Look at those eyes!

Isn't she such a little beauty!

Colton and sweet baby Natalie

Anne and Colton with baby Natalie

I am in love with this picture of Colton playing with baby Natalie

Look at baby Natalie's tiny fingers wrapped around Colton's finger.

Once the fireworks started Evera wasn't so excited about it anymore.  He's hanging onto my legs!

Not loving the fireworks...

Mommy didn't pick him up so he found Daddy

But don't worry, I did end up holding my boy.

Ev might've been hating it, but Melia was loving it.

I love my princess

I honestly don't think she could get any more beautiful

Sparklers!!

Kir is our pyro

I love Eli's face here
Notice Evan's lack of shirt...that is because it CAUGHT ON FIRE when the kids were doing sparklers.  NOTE TO READERS: rash guards and flame do not mix well
Evera was a little happier AFTER the fireworks were over.  :)

Love my guys

We also went to see a Despicable Me 2 in the theater.
Me and my girl again.  :)

Cute cousins Melia and Vienna
Handsome boys: Ian, Brennan, Jacob, and Spencer

 We went to the Aquarium.
Melia and Lydia riding a giant frog...Melia looks like she's in pain...

That's better.  :)

Justin and Lydia in one of the animal habitats

Melia needed a turn too.

Melia enjoyed driving the boat.
We also had fun at Grandma and Grandpa's house.
We had fun singing Happy Birthday to America.  :)

We had an extra birthday cake so we just scraped off the name and made it for America.  :)

Melia and Vienna had fun playing in Grandma and Grandpa's play cars :)
We had fun painting the little girlie's toe nails.  Kir had the idea to do them like an American flag.

This is how I did Melia's

Melia was pretty excited about them and wanted to show them off.  :)

Some of the other little girls' cute fingers and toes

All the adult women went to get pedicures together.  Here we are showing them off.
Melia had to join in our picture because I had painted her toenails earlier that day.  Obviously Melia's foot is the tiny one.  Then counterclockwise from Melia, Kathy, Kirsten, Anne, Hillary, Amber, and Me.

I love this picture of Melia dancing on Grandpa's feet

Look at that stark contrast of colors!!

Caylie is always so great with the babies.  Here she is with Baby Natalie.

Grandma and Grandpa have always had this antique radio in the office, but it's been empty (just the shell) because the working parts hadn't been working in a long time.  It had been Mike's mom's parents or grandparents in the past.  I had never seen the parts in the radio, it had been broken for years and Ben (the electrical engineer in the family) had taken the parts to try to repair them.  So during the reunion, Ben put it all back together (after having repaired it into working condition).

This creepy green eye lights up when you actually are on a station...or something like that

Yep, that's my monkey boy!

Cousins on the swingset

Crazy monkey

Silly girls.  Lydia and Melia.

Melia, Kate, and Evera

Kate and Morgan--best cousins.  Such cuties.

Melia had to get in on that action.

The boys enjoyed some relaxation.  :)

Kir's sister and her kids came over to play too and Melia had a ton of fun playing with their son...they seriously might be two of the cutest kids I've ever seen.  :)  But I'm biased towards my girl...

Evera loves climbing and being crazy!!

Evera and Sam had fun on the swing together.  I love this picture of these two little 1 year olds having a little conversation.  SO STINKING CUTE!!

It's always fun when the family gets together, and I'm always sad to see it end.
